Terms & Conditions
ExtremeX developer platform. Last updated: 13 July 2026.
1. The agreement
These terms govern your use of the ExtremeX developer portal (client.extremextechnology.com) and the ExtremeX ONE APIs. By signing in and registering an application you accept them on behalf of yourself and, where applicable, your organisation.
2. Your account and namespace
- You must provide accurate information and keep your ExtremeX ONE account secure.
- Your reverse-domain namespace must correspond to a domain or brand you control or legitimately represent. Squatting or impersonation leads to reclamation.
- You are responsible for everything done with your credentials, including your client secrets.
3. Acceptable use
- Request only the data fields your application needs, with truthful reasons.
- Do not attempt to de-anonymise, resell, broker or cross-correlate identity data beyond your app's stated purpose.
- Do not probe, scan or test the platform for vulnerabilities except through our responsible-disclosure process ([email protected]).
- No malware, phishing, or applications that mislead users about their identity or purpose.
- Respect rate limits and engineering guidance published in the documentation.
4. End-user data
Data received through the APIs remains under the end user's control. On revocation (access_revoked) or app deletion you must cease processing and delete cached platform data for the affected users within 30 days. You must maintain a privacy policy that covers your use of platform data.
5. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or remove applications that violate these terms, present a security risk, or harm users or the platform — with notice where practicable, immediately where not. You may delete your applications at any time from the dashboard.
6. Availability and changes
The platform is provided “as is”; we target high availability but do not guarantee it. We may evolve the APIs; breaking changes are announced to registered developers at least 30 days in advance except for security fixes.
7. Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, ExtremeX Technology is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from platform use. Total liability is capped at the fees paid for the platform in the preceding 12 months (currently zero — the platform is free).
